Frequently Asked Questions
If you've never taken a course with the CPNL, 24/48 hours before the start of the course you'll receive a message at the email address you provided at the time of enrolment with your CPNL email account xxx.xxx@alumnes.cpnl.cat, the initial password and the instructions on how to activate it.
If you've already taken a course with the CPNL and have an activated CPNL student account, you'll be able to access the environment on the day the course starts with the password you already had.
To help you activate your student account, see the Guide on how to activate the student account. If you have any questions, please contact User Services.
If the password you received to activate your account doesn't work, ask for a new one at Get a new initial password.
When changing your password, please note that: In the new password you cannot use either your first name or last name; it must have at least 8 characters, including a capital letter and a number, and may not be the same as your previous password. Watch out for typical mix-ups: a lowercase "L", an uppercase "i" or a 1, the confusion between 0 (zero) and O (letter). It is best not to include these characters. Recommendation: a town or city and year of birth (example: Barcelona1992).
From the first day of the course, you can use the account to access the Teams and Moodle platforms, depending on the course’s learning mode. See the Accessing Teams or Accessing Moodle section of the guide to accessing the virtual learning environments.
From the day the course starts you'll be able to view and access the course. If you can't see it, your tutor may not have activated it yet. If you can't find it on the day the course starts, please contact User Services and tell them what the problem is.

Yes. You can do an online course on a mobile device, although we recommend courses should be taken on a desktop computer, especially from the elementary level upwards, as mobile devices are not really suitable for writing long texts.
