Frequently Asked Questions
If you have problems accessing the platform with your student account, open an incognito window and click on I have an email account (ELIMINAR)@alumnes.cpnl.cat or log out of your personal email session and try again. If the problem persists, contact User Services .
If you don't have a student email account and you want to enrol in a course, you have to access the platform at I don't have an @alumnes.cpnl.cat email account and follow the instructions.
You receive the student email account once you've enrolled in a course and completed your registration. All students who have taken a course in or after October 2020 have an @alumnes.cpnl.cat email account.
It may not recognise you because the details you've entered are different from the ones in our database and which are associated with your file. Check the details you entered, and if the problem persists please contact User Services.
If you access the platform to complete a level test or enrol in a course and you don't receive the verification code through the channel you've selected, you'll have to ask for it again.
If you ask for a code again and don't receive one, please contact User Services.
If you have a Catalan certificate on the list of qualifications equivalent to the Catalan language proficiency certificates issued by the ministry in charge of language policy in the Government of Catalonia other than from the CPNL, you need to go to the level test procedure and attach the certificate. If you don't know how to do this, see determining your level.
Once we've validated your certificate, you can enrol in the next level up from the accredited one when the enrolment period is open.
If the certificate has not been validated, you'll have to ask for a level test or submit another one.
If you have a Catalan certificate from the CPNL, you can enrol directly. When you enter the platform to enrol, you'll see the range of courses for the level you need to take.
The tests are managed based on the timetable availability of the linguistic normalisation centres. They will contact you to assign you a date and time as soon as possible.
Yes. Go to Continue a procedure on the platform.
Your level test application will have one of the following statuses:
- Pending assignment: the CNL will contact you to give you the date and time.
- The appointment has been set: you already have a date and time assigned to take the test.
If you did the level test more than two years ago, you'll have to apply again. If you did it less than two years ago and it does not recognise your level, please contact User Services.
If you've already taken a level test and want to do another one, you'll have to wait at least 60 days to take it again. If you've already done a general course with the CPNL, you do not have to do it again.
The test result is valid for two years and in no case does it have the status of a Catalan language proficiency certificate.
If you've completed the course very close to the enrolment period, the recommended level may not yet be entered because courses are not closed immediately.
When the enrolment period opens, you'll be offered the level recommended by your tutor.
If once the enrolment period has started you are not offered the level recommended by the tutor, please contact User Services.
